Net Perceptions Enters in to Reseller Alliance With HP; Net Perceptions to Provide Personalization Technology for HP-UX Platform

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 25, 2000--In a move that underscores the increasing demand for personalization-centric enterprise solutions, Net Perceptions, Inc. (Nasdaq: NETP) today announced it has entered into a reseller agreement with Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HWP) that will allow HP to offer the Net Perceptions' realtime personalization technology with HP's worldwide e-services offerings.

With this deal, HP adds greater value to its global customer base and a boost for its own revenue goals."

As part of this alliance, HP may resell and promote the Net Perceptions' e-commerce personalization solution through HP's Complementary Products Organization. Net Perceptions intends to offer customers who use the highly scalable, secure HP-UX platform Net Perceptions for E-commerce, a powerful solution that allows companies realtime and personalized interactions with their customers. Working one-to-one with customers, the solution makes individualized recommendations based on each customer's tastes and preferences.
